Created and performed by Kjartan Andersen, Tijmen Legemaate, Susanne Irene Fjørtoft, Bjørnar Nilsen, Kyrre Teigen, Øyvind Madsen, Eivind Huse and Tor Helge Gjengedal. Light design by Leo Preston. Video by Magnus Lysbakken. Nico van Montfort behind the soundboard. Co-produced by BIT-Teatergarasjen, funded by Norwegian Arts Council, the Audio and Visual Fund and the Municipality of Bergen. Photos by Lena Therese Lie.
dog ma'am god is about our need to define ourselves and our world by ways of constructed infallible systems of truths; about our need to believe in order to justify our own existence; about our urge for meaning and the anguish of the void. It is a procession of the damned and one of the bastard children of the collaboration between Happy Gorilla and Vulture Industries. The future is behind you and you are looking forward into your past; to walk backwards is to deconstruct created patterns and to tempt the devil.
